Technical Assistant
Job Description:
The Technical Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and technical support for the company. He/ She assists in the preparation, processing, and performance of technical, regulatory, and other administrative functions of the department. 
Job Specifications:
Education
  • Graduate of Medical Technology

Experience
  • At least least three (3) years’ experience general clinical laboratory procedures
  • Has previously handled laboratory analyzers and has studied data and lab results

Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Able to read and interpret technical data
  • Knowledgeable about computer hardware and software systems
  • Familiar with clinical laboratory procedures
  • Proficient in quality assessment program and quality control analysis

Licensing Requirements
  • Registered Medical Technologist
  • Trained in any of the following: clinical laboratory management, laboratory equipment handling and troubleshooting, specialized lab procedures, POCT, and other related health science training

Work Set-up
  • May require the employee to report in office, work-from-home, or work on the field as advised
